Nova grew up in a constantly changing atmosphere. Moving every year or two to a new locale meant she got to see far more of her country than she ever dreamed of. Now, she brings that experience to others in the form of her writing.

With a healthy dose of ADHD, one too many cups of hot cocoa, and a playlist for every occasion, she brings her life experiences, hopes, and dreams to life on the pages of each book she creates.

On an average day, you might catch her curled up and daydreaming about her favorite little black kitty or causing untold amounts of chaos with her bestie, Miya. There is no in between.

Why Do You Write?

I write because I have stories to tell, stories that nobody else can tell like they need to be told. I write because I needed an escape once upon a time from a less-than-perfect reality. I write because, once, a long, long time ago, someone told me that I needed to find the thing I’m good at and embrace it. And because, at the end of the day, I love what I do. Telling these stories and writing these characters keeps me sane, and I like seeing representation of strong, hard-working, independent, and slightly-weird women who find perfectly imperfect love on the pages of my books.
